The aim for the ‘Schools and Community Liaison Officer’ officers is to broaden our remit across Suffolk, forging strong relationships with schools and colleges who traditionally have not had access to neaco or University of Suffolk support. This work largely focusses on pre-16 engagement and promotes structured interventions with those identified as in need within Suffolk. The officers foster relationships between the University of Suffolk and teacher networks and promotes brand awareness of the University of Suffolk. The officers also lead on the University of Suffolk Parent Ambassador Scheme and the Teacher CPD network, as well as engaging community groups with work that the university is doing.
